Choose food near the part of the park you are visiting

For a west-side outing, consider Ferguson Point; for the central gardens or Aquarium, look around the Pavilion and Avison Way; for the southwest, consider the brewpub. The comparison table helps you avoid crossing the park simply to get lunch.

Decide whether food is a quick pause or the main experience. A reserved restaurant meal can be a good anchor for a shorter walk, while a long coastal outing may work better with a picnic or concession stop.

A restaurant meal at Ferguson Point

The Teahouse is at Ferguson Point. Its published menu gives useful price context: current listed dinner examples range from a C$25 bowl to a C$63 ribeye, before any extras. These are examples checked October 16, not a complete meal quotation or a promise of future prices.

Use the operator’s hours and reservation details before planning a sunset meal. The page currently closes Tuesday/Wednesday and advertises a limited winter-evening parking arrangement for its own lot. That is not a general free-parking rule for Third Beach or the park; confirm the posted terms.

Lunch around the Aquarium and Pavilion

Bicycle Bistro is listed by the City near the Aquarium with casual food, and Aquarium admission is not required. For the Pavilion, use Stanley’s Bar & Grill’s own current hours and private-event notices. Its current October information is more specific than the City directory’s broad June–September description.

For our half-day itinerary, check one lunch option before you start the walk. Do not make a meal depend on a venue being open merely because it appears in a tourism directory.

A meal near Second Beach

Stanley Park Brewing’s restaurant is at 8901 Stanley Park Drive, with reservations and walk-ins listed by the operator. Open current hours and contact details. It is a useful candidate for a southwest outing; allow time to move from your beach or garden stop rather than assuming the restaurant is on the sand.

If no park option fits, consider English Bay and West End food near the end of your trip. Choose the final exit before choosing the meal.

Prices, dietary needs and reservations

Read the current menu for your party size, drinks and dietary needs. A vegetarian or gluten-free symbol does not establish allergy-safe preparation; discuss that directly with staff. Ask about the entrance and toilet arrangements if those affect the visit.

This shortlist is based on geography and published services. We have not tasted every menu, scored service or received a commission from the listed venues. Prices, opening days and private functions can change independently of the park’s hours.

Sources and current information

Check current operating details with the responsible operator. A source-review date does not claim an on-site visit; older route references do not establish current access.
