About Girl in Wetsuit
The City attributes the artwork to Elek Imredy and records its installation in June 1972. The figure wears diving equipment, including flippers and a mask. Its specific title is Girl in Wetsuit; it is not a copy of Copenhagen’s Little Mermaid.
Finding the right arrival point
Find the sculpture along the eastern coastal route near the Lumbermen’s Arch area. Keep the shared walking path clear when you stop. A driver needs a legal parking or drop-off point; an offshore map pin is not a vehicle destination.
What to check before visiting
Water level and light change the view of the boulder. Use the coastal-conditions guide if tide timing is part of your photography plan. Stay on the public viewing side rather than trying to cross rocks or enter the water for a closer pose.
Combine this stop with nearby places
Pair a short stop with the arch or follow an open section of the seawall. If the route ahead is closed, turn back along a permitted connection. The statue remains visible from shore without needing access to a private vessel or paid tour.
