About The Fox’s Den (Spray Park)
This is an outdoor spray and water-play area near the seawall, not a swimming pool. The City describes it as unsupervised and first-come, first-served. A family should bring its own supervision and expect to share the space rather than reserve an individual play session.
Finding the right arrival point
Locate Lumbermen’s Arch on the eastern side of the park. Check the final walk from your parking area or central bus-loop arrival. The Aquarium and train-station area are separate nearby destinations, not interchangeable entrances to the sprays.
What to check before visiting
The City’s dedicated water-park page describes seasonal operation ending in September and daytime operating hours during that season. The general play page uses a different seasonal summary, so verify the dedicated page before promising children that the water will run. At this October source review, do not assume summer service.
Combine this stop with nearby places
Nearby grass, picnic tables and concession facilities can support a longer family outing when available. Bring a towel, dry layer and drinking water. If your priority is a supervised pool visit, compare Second Beach Pool, including its separate season and admission arrangements.
