Ceperley Playground, Stanley Park: Family Visit Guide

Ceperley Playground is beside the Ceperley picnic-shelter area, across the field from the separate Second Beach playground. A map label for one should not be used as the meeting point for the other.

About Ceperley Park Playground

The City lists Ceperley as one of Stanley Park’s four playground sites and places it next to the picnic shelter. Its setting makes it a practical main stop for a family that wants play time and grass nearby rather than a long coastal circuit.

Finding the right arrival point

Use Ceperley Playground as the destination and compare southwest park arrival options. If a group is meeting, name the playground or shelter explicitly. The pool, beach-side playground and inland play area may be close on a map but remain different gathering points.

What to check before visiting

The City distinguishes seasonal Ceperley washrooms from the year-round Second Beach facilities across the field. Check the facility you intend to use instead of assuming every nearby toilet is open. Pool admission and picnic-shelter reservations are separate from informal playground use.

Combine this stop with nearby places

Add Second Beach if children still have energy, or plan a short planting walk around the rhododendron garden. Bring a picnic when concession opening is uncertain. Keep a simple return route rather than adding the entire seawall after play time.
