About Khalil Fong Memorial Bench

The fan-organized memorial project is described by its organizer, and October 2025 reporting records a bench installed in Stanley Park overlooking English Bay. This is the Vancouver tribute, not the separate memorial bench in London. The same musician’s name on another city’s photograph is not location evidence.

Finding the right arrival point

Use a current map search for the full bench name rather than a broad park destination. The supplied map places it along the west-side route between the Ferguson Point and Second Beach areas. We have not field-verified a precise coordinate or a step-free approach to the bench.

What to check before visiting

Treat the bench as shared public seating and a memorial, not a reserved photo set. Keep walking and cycling space clear, take litter away and avoid attaching objects or leaving offerings that may affect the park. Tide, weather and coastal closures may change the outing.

Combine this stop with nearby places

Combine a short reflective stop with Ferguson Point or Second Beach, depending on your arrival direction. For food, compare the Teahouse with the beach-area choices and check their opening separately.

Check current operating details with the responsible operator. A source-review date does not claim an on-site visit; older route references do not establish current access.
