Stanley Park Routes and Walks
Choose a route by travel mode, surface, available time and return options. The right route is the one that works for your whole group on the day.
Choose by mode distance and surface
Choose walking, cycling or a shorter sightseeing outing before comparing lines on a map. Legal cycling routes and walking paths are not interchangeable. Consider the approach from transport as part of the route.
Compare start and finish points
Set a start, finish and turnaround or exit plan. A full loop is only one way to visit. A shorter out-and-back can make time and energy easier to manage when the permitted travel direction allows it.
Check route conditions
Use current official notices alongside the map. A closure can alter surface and gradients as well as distance. Avoid a detour you have not checked just to preserve the original plan.
Find facilities along your route
Locate toilets, water and resting opportunities before starting. If a long gap would be unsuitable, choose a different route. Practical needs should be visible before the scenic highlights.
Sources and current information
Check current operating details with the responsible operator. A source-review date does not claim an on-site visit; older route references do not establish current access.
