Current opening status

The City pool page retains a 2026 timetable below its closure banner. That timetable is historical, not evidence that the pool is operating now. Check the current banner before using a saved session time.

If you are planning next summer, keep the pool as an option until the new dates and tickets appear. You can still plan Second Beach sightseeing without a swim booking.

What the pool offers

The facility has a heated outdoor pool, graduated depths, a sloped entry and a separated lap-swimming area. The City lists ramp and aquatic-wheelchair access. Pool swimming is different from entering the sea beside it.

Choose the experience your group wants before booking: a family swim and a session focused on swimming lengths may need different arrangements. Allow time for changing, sunscreen and the journey from parking.

Tickets, fees and booking

For budget context only, the page currently lists outdoor admission at C$7.93 for adults, C$5.55 for youth/seniors and C$3.97 for children aged 5–12, before tax; online reservation charges can apply. These are checked 2026 figures, not confirmed 2027 prices.

Use the City’s own booking link when the season is released. Read cancellation and pass terms before purchase, and include every person who needs admission. This guide does not take bookings or reserve capacity.

Children and access requirements

The published rule requires children aged seven and under to remain within arm’s reach of a bathing-suit-wearing guardian aged 16 or older, with up to three children per guardian. Confirm the current rule when booking.

For equipment and assistance, use the accessibility guide and contact the pool about your particular needs. Do not assume a beach equipment arrangement is identical to one inside the pool.

Arrival and alternatives when the pool is closed

Choose the Second Beach parking areas or an English Bay-side arrival. Consult parking rates, then include the walk and changing time before the session.

When the pool is closed, make a short coastal walk, beach visit or picnic the main plan. If an indoor attraction is preferable, check the Aquarium before travelling; it is in a different part of the park and requires its own budget.

Sources and current information

Check current operating details with the responsible operator. A source-review date does not claim an on-site visit; older route references do not establish current access.
